Team Obsolete returns to Oliver's Mount in Scarborough, UK
Team Obsolete returns to the fabled Oliver's Mount Circuit at Scarborough for the lead event of UK Bikeweek 1998. Six times World Champion Jim Redman will ride the World's sole running RC165 Honda 250 "Six". This 18,000 rpm screamer is the same machine that Jim Redman debuted at Monza in 1964.
Nick Jeffries will ride the MV Agusta 500 triple, the same machine that Giacomo Agostini rode to the Gold Cup victory at Scarborough in 1972.
On the program as well will be legendary French Canadian Yvon Duhamel who will ride the ex-Walter Villa H2R Kawasaki 750. Yvon thrilled the crowd's in the 1970's with his spectacular riding style.
