TEAM OBSOLETE'S DAYTONA ONE - TWO - THREE

Triple Triumph. Six time FIM World Champion Jim Redman came out of retirement to win the 350 GP event on an ex-Agostini MV Agusta 350 Triple, leading teammates Erik Green and Dave Roper, both riding AJS 7R's to a one - two - three sweep. Despite being placed at the back of the starting grid, the trio led from the first lap to the last never being challenged by any other rider. The victory was all the sweeter because AHRMA's attempt to exclude Team Obsolete from Daytona has once again failed.

Yvon Duhamel was a non-start in the F750 race when a piston failed on the ex-Dick Mann BSA III. The fiery French Canadian then came back in the Formula Vintage race with a third place on the ex-Cal Rayborn XR750TT. His chance for a victory faded when his left footpeg came loose.

Team Obsolete is sponsored by Vanson Leathers, DomiRacer, Megacycle Cams, Avon Tires, Works Performance, AirTech & R/D Springs, Sudco, and SuperTrap.
